Where to find gacha in Hiroshima
Most of Hiroshima's gacha shops and arcades are downtown, along the covered Hondori shopping street and around Kamiyacho, a short walk east of the Peace Memorial Park. Hiroshima Station has a few more. Each link opens a map and a list with addresses and opening hours.
Hondori and Kamiyacho
The Animate building in Kamiyacho has a Gashapon Department Store, a Gashapon Bandai Official Shop and a namco arcade on its ground floor. Nearby there is another Gashapon Department Store in the basement of the EDION main store, #C-pla shops in the Niitani building and in PARCO, and Gacha Oukoku. Along Hondori you will find arcades from Taito Station, GiGO and ACE GAME FIELD. Further east, in Hatchobori, the Don Quijote building has a Gashapon Department Store on the 7th floor.
Hiroshima Station
The station buildings have gacha shops too: #C-pla and TOYS SPOT PALO in minamoa, and Gashacoco in ekie. Across from the station, the Bic Camera building has a Taito Station arcade in the basement. Handy if you are waiting for a shinkansen or the train to Miyajima.
Tips
- The streetcar runs from Hiroshima Station to Kamiyacho and Hondori in about 15 minutes.
- Shops inside department stores and malls close with the building, usually at 8 or 9 pm. Arcades stay open later.
