Where to find gacha in Fukuoka
Fukuoka is compact, and its gacha shops and arcades sit in two areas a short subway ride apart: Tenjin downtown and Hakata Station.
Tenjin
Tenjin is Fukuoka's main shopping district. Tenjin Nishi-dori street alone has several gacha shops, including #C-pla and Gachagacha no Mori, and there are big arcades from GiGO and Taito Station nearby. The department stores and malls add more gacha corners.
Hakata Station
The Hakata Bus Terminal next to the station has a Gashapon Department Store, a Gashapon Bandai Official Shop and a namco arcade on the same floor, which makes it one of the easiest stops in Kyushu. The station building and the malls around it have more.
Tips
- Fukuoka Airport is close to the city, so you can shop in Tenjin or Hakata until shortly before your flight.
- Shops inside department stores close when the store closes, usually around 8 or 9 pm. Arcades stay open later.
