Chiikawa gacha and prizes: where to find them
Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi, the small characters by illustrator Nagano, are some of the hardest goods to find in Japan right now. New items sell out within days. Here is where Chiikawa capsule toys and crane game prizes turn up.
Crane game prizes at namco
Most of the Chiikawa crane game prizes in our catalog come through namco arcades. Plush in many sizes, clips, pouches, mugs and seasonal items like Halloween versions all show up. If you are hunting Chiikawa prizes, check namco first, then other big arcades.
Capsule toys
Chiikawa gacha sets come out regularly and are usually the first machines to empty in a gacha shop. Larger shops such as Gashapon Department Store, #C-pla and Gachagacha no Mori get more stock.
Official shops
Chiikawa also has its own official shops in Japan, which sell regular merchandise at fixed prices. They are a different thing from gacha and prizes, and can have long lines.
Tips
- Go early in the day, and on weekdays if you can. Popular machines get refilled, but not always.
- When a machine is sold out, a sign or tape usually covers the slot. Ask the staff if more is coming. Some shops know their restock days.
- Check the release month on each item below. Prizes reach arcades over a few weeks, not all on the same day.
